Original Art: Paintings by Ludmila Korol

Born in Ukraine and now based in Dublin, Ludmila Korol brings her training in art and architecture at the Kyiv Academy of Fine Art to paintings shaped by memory, emotion and a strong sense of composition.

Drawing on Eastern European folklore and everyday encounters, her work moves between portraits, cityscapes and abstraction. Wide-eyed figures and animal companions inhabit dreamlike scenes, while grids, patterns and layered surfaces reflect her architectural eye. These paintings hold stories of seasonal change, quiet reflection and the connections between people and places.
